Rave Reviews for Ministry of Sound Testament at White Bay Power Station
For over six decades, White Bay Power Station powered Sydney's tram, trains and homes. Fast forward through a few Hollywood cameos and after 40 years of quiet slumber, this heritage icon is roaring back to life as Sydney's newest home of arts, culture and community events.
White Bay played host to two sold out Ministry of Sound events in 2024, and more recently, three sold out sessions yet again for 2025. The vibes were electric, the tunes were massive, and the venue... next level. But don't just take our word for it.
Here's the vibe check (straight from the dance floor):
- "Sydney is so lucky to have you... The venue and art and everything. Reminded me of my clubbing days in London and Manchester Warehouse project. So pleased you now exist... Almost like a mini Battersea Power Station conversion but better.. a truly unique piece of architecture and creativity." (kittykaster1, Instagram)
- This venue is absolutely WORLD CLASS and we should sell it as so. And use it! I don't know many venues as incredible as this around the world." (natnatpoodle, Instagram)
- "Exceeded expectations." (kerryg99, Facebook)
- "Top event and so well organsied, def will be at the next one." (Paul Jackson, Facebook)
- "Sydneys 90s event was epic... great venue, well organised, awesome DJs, brilliant production... people there for true appreciation of electronic music and bringing back memories of the good old days." (Justin Dale, Facebook)
- It's such an amazing venue and the party last night was amazing. Thank you." (Kasia Verodnck, Facebook)
