Gadigal/Sydney's leading experimental arts, discourse and music festival is coming to White Bay Power Station this August.
Scaling up for its 2025 return, SOFT CENTRE will take place across four days, five venues and six distinct events, bringing together the most daring and future-focused local and international creatives within some of the city’s most iconic spaces.Taking over White Bay Power Station across two huge festival days, 80 artists will converge for a large-scale, cross-disciplinary cornucopia of contemporary experimental music, performance art, dance, audiovisual works, site-responsive light and video installations.
Leading a mammoth international offering includes American experimental hip hop artist Pink Siifu, Dutch IDM artist and NTS regular upsammy with a premiere of a new audiovisual show, Tanzanian Singeli mother-daughter duo Queen Asher & Rehema Tajiri, Vietnamese experimental collective and more.

We’re proud to call White Bay Power Station our new festival home, a dream canvas for our most expansive and ambitious program to date.
